Well it’s best to put this concert into context. Last night I went to see Barenaked Ladies and tonight Ozzy. I thought nothing better than the two ends of the spectrum as far as my youth goes. For a spell I had a step brother that was into Sabath and there were some Ozzy songs I like and I hung around with just about everyone so a vast music genres was always at my disposal. I put all that into good use this weekend going to see BNL and Ozzy. Could the 40-50+ crowd be more different. It was just like my youth and watching those people grow up into the upstanding citizens was quite pleasant. I have to say as far as sheer fun and entertainment and “Party” value Ozzy wins. As far as culture and relaxing night of social and musical entertainment BNL wins. Would I have asked for any better of a weekend ABSOLUTLY NOT “ROCK ON GARTH!”

Concert :: Barenaked Ladies
Well I was reading a review this morning to see what “critics” might thing and also to get the set list. I think the “critic” was somewhat right but quite far off about the sound… I though they did an amazing job on “Old Apartment” and “If I Had a Million Dollars” but I was really excited to see them and probably didn’t take that … Setp back. Anyhow amazing show and glad I got to be a part of Barenaked Ladies playing Massey Hall. Now on the hall, amazing place, great photos and beautiful history. I was one of the sad people using his IPhone to read wiki’s about the hall etc. in between songs and absorbing the atmosphere. Great night. To read the review just click here. My only disappointment was the lack of What a good boy, but c’est la vie.
